I am police chief for the City of Corinth and the Town of Shady Shores, a position I have held for more than four years.  I am responsible for leading the law enforcement and community-oriented policing efforts of those communities. I have spent 53 years in law enforcement, 18 of them as a police chief.  Before retiring and coming back to my native state of Texas I served as police chief for Greeley, Colorado, a city of over 100,000 people.

Something about me? I have taught for the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia and at law enforcement leadership institutes in Texas. I have authored 14 books on law enforcement topics. What’s next? I’ve just started on number 15.

The Chamber is important to me because I can interact with leading members of our communities, thereby getting a feel for what is of concern and interest. It also gives me the opportunity to tell folks what a good job their police officers are doing.

Thank you, Chief, for all you do to keep our community safe!
