Member Payments For your convenience, the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce now offers secure online credit card payments through Paypal for Membership Dues and Event Purchases. You are NOT required to have a PayPal account in order to use the service. We do not receive or store your credit card information. We will also continue to offer the option of payment by check. Please click on the drop down box to list the reason for payment and click on "Pay Now" to start the process.
Member Programs
Member Programs Once you become a member there are numerous ways you can get involved to bring your company business and networking opportunites such as:
Wednesday Morning Coffee, 7:15 - 8:00 AM
Network with other Chamber members over coffee and breakfast while catching up on community news, announcements and local events. Members have the opportunity to host their own Chamber Coffee and have the floor to present information about their business or organization. Locations vary so be sure to check the Calendar of Events for each week’s location.
Monthly Luncheons, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Listen to a speaker with topics of interest to the Lake Cities community over a delicious lunch at Oakmont Country Club and other member locations on the second Tuesday of each month. At the end of each luncheon, everyone has the opportunity to introduce themselves and their business.
Power Hour Mondays, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Members are invited to bring their own sack lunch/take-out to the Chamber office on the 3rd Monday of each month. Attendees are invited to share problems or challenges in their business to be trouble-shooted by the group. This brain storming session is a way to help each other get better and provides networking. Monthly Board Meeting, 8:00 AM on the 2nd Wednesday of the month
The Board of Director's monthly meeting is open to the entire membership and discusses Chamber activities and plans.
Networking Mixers, 5:00 - 7:00 PM Held at least quarterly, mixers are a great networking opportunity in a fun, laid-back atmosphere! Mixer locations vary depending on the hosting Chamber member. Adult beverages, appetizers and door prize drawings are included!
Annual Banquet
A fun and festive evening of entertainment and socializing with community friends is held each year. Enjoy great food and drinks, door prizes, special awards and Adopt-A-Teacher wine sales. Also announced at the annual banquet is the prestigious "Citizen of the Year" Award. The Chamber awards this honor to a citizen who has shown devotion to the community. Chamber Scholarships
Two Lake Cities graduating seniors are awarded scholarships each year. Chamber members are invited to be a part of the selection committee.
Adopt-A-Teacher Program This Chamber-sponsored assistance program helps Lake Dallas ISD teachers get the supplies they need. Volunteer opportunities are available to put together baskets of supplies for new teachers, show support at the Adopt-A-Teacher breakfast, and assemble the coupon-filled wine bottles that are sold each year at the Annual Banquet.

Membership Directory A complete directory of all Chamber members and useful community information is available in a convenient printed version as well as on the Chamber website. Directories are given to each member and distributed throughout the Lake Cities community in City Halls, businesses and community organizations.
Membership Plaque & Badge
Members receive a two-color plaque to display in their home or business. Year markers that are easily attached are given to show additional years of membership. Members also receive a name badge for indentification as a member and to assist in networking at Chamber functions.
Ribbon Cuttings
All new Chamber members are invited to schedule a ribbon cutting for their business or organization. The Lake Cities Sun donates space for an announcement and photo.
Office Supply Discounts
The Chamber's special partnership with Office Depot allows members to receive deep discounts on popular office supply items plus an additional 5% of items not on the core list such as furniture, technology and other office needs.
Low-Cost (or even FREE!) Advertising Opportunities
Members can spotlight what they do by hosting a coffee or mixer. Members also have the opportunity to purchase an ad in the Member Directory (a 2-year shelf life), get great recognition by being a banquet sponsor or provide brochures/business cards for the Referral Center inside the Chamber office. Your company's special events or announcements can also be featured for free in our weekly newsletter that is e-mailed to the entire membership of over 300 contacts!
Access to Member Lists Members can receive an updated paper copy of the membership list at any time for free.
Network and be featured on the Chamber's Facebook page
If you click the "like" button at www.facebook.com/lakecitieschamber, you can stay up-to-date on the latest news about Chamber events and members! We update our status weekly with information about our members. You can also comment on the wall to announce any special events/discounts you have. It’s also a great way to network with other members.
Community Involvement
Members are provided with many opportunities to give back and stand out in the community. Through programs like Adopt-A-Teacher, members are invited to donate items to the new teachers in the Lake Dallas ISD. There is also a special breakfast members are invited to attend where the new teachers receive their baskets.
