Get Involved

In order to get the most out of your Lake Cities Chamber membership, we encourage you to become involved with one or more of our committees or events.

If you would like to be more involved in the Lake Cities business community, the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce has plenty of opportunities.

Chamber Business Ambassadors

The Ambassadors are the good will representatives of the Chamber. They serve as the welcoming committee for new members, represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings, serve as hosts at special events, and represent the Chamber to the community as they conduct day-to-day business.

There are a number of benefits to being an Ambassador: Excellent networking opportunities, business leads and visibility; access to Chamber member list and new Chamber members; increased exposure to the Chamber and its initiatives; and increased recognition for both the individual and organization in the business community – Ambassador of the Month, Ambassador of the Year, and recognition at Annual Banquet.

Ambassadors are very important to our Chamber. Anyone wishing to be an Ambassador should contact Randy Clark at 808-799-9789 or the Chamber Office at 940-497-3097.

Ambassador Of The Month - August 2023
I offer people and businesses the opportunity to reduce their monthly bills on essential services, ones they not only want but need and use every single day such as gas & electric, cell phone service, home security and automation, ID theft protection, healthcare, high-speed internet, television, travel, and payment processing. Additionally, for those wanting an additional source of income, I teach people to do what I do and afford them the opportunity to be their own customers and get paid on their own essential services! It gives me the greatest pleasure to be able to help people and businesses in my community save money or even make money if they so desire. It is my job to share the information, present any savings or income potential, and then leave the decision-making up to the customer. I found that the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce was the best vehicle to meet people in the community, build relationships, and see where I can be of service (even if it's outside of the services I myself provide).

Events & Fundraising

Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce Events & Fundraising
The Events and Fundraising Committee’s main objective is to raise funds to further support the operations of the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce, beyond what is provided by membership annual dues. This objective can be met by organizing and implementing various types of events that not only add to the quality of life in the Lake Cities communities but also raise funds in doing so. This committee is always looking for individuals who are creative and not afraid to reach out to members of the community for whatever is needed at the time. Anyone wishing to be involved in Events and Fundraising should contact Julie Willis at (940) 321-7861 Office | (940) 390-7699 Mobile or the Chamber Office at (940) 497-3097.

Luncheons & Speakers

The vision of the Luncheons & Speakers is to enhance the Lake Cities Chamber programs for our monthly luncheons. Our purpose is to include innovative speakers, interesting subjects, and helpful tips to expand and improve local businesses. Some of our luncheon programs include a vendor’s fair for area businesses to promote their products & services as well as an event featuring our area non-profits complete with a dessert auction of which all proceeds is awarded to one lucky charity! Anyone interested in helping to schedule the Luncheons and Speakers, please contact Larry Gilbert at 940-498-6216 or the Chamber Office at 940-497-3097.

Mixers

Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce | Networking Coffee

The Lake Cities Chamber Mixers are quarterly events designed for Chamber Members and guests to network and interact in a social environment. These events are typically held late afternoon or early evening after work hours and can involve happy hour, games, picnics or other types of fun settings.

Most of all, it gives participants an opportunity to have more one-on-one interaction which we believe improves local commerce. The events are ideally held the 2nd Thursday of the month.

Anyone wishing to be involved in Mixers should contact Gary Peppers at 940-321-7100 or the Chamber Office at 940-497-3097.
